A peaceful picnic

 

 They went for a walk with their lunch packed in a bag.

The kids picked the location.

I saw them on my way back from the store.  :)

My mom visited us from Iowa this week.  We took her back to the airport yesterday and we're missing her like crazy today.  Especially Ty and Cate.  Ty has asked about their garden spider several times ("NOT the one here- the spider at the cemetery!")  My mom gave them all a new appreciation for all things spider related.  That's the old second-grade-insect-unit coming out in her.  Ha!

Anyway, it was nice having her here.  Hopefully next time my dad will be able to come too. 

And I'll get out my camera.
