The new city ball fields are ready!  (And really nice!)

Cate is the only one who has had a practice that wasn't rained out so far.  And she loved it!

Post-practice base run- Cate is by far the fastest  :)

**Yes.  Cate is wearing Crocs to practice.  It was embarrassing. 

It went down like this:

Me: "Cate, hurry!  Go get your tennies on, we're going to be late!"  (We were.)

Cate:  "Wellllll... remember the other day they made red marks on my feet and they hurt??"

Me:  cringing  "Oh no.  Oh man.  Do Halle's cleats from last year fit you?"

Cate:  staring a hole in me  "No."

Me:  "How about we try some different socks with your tennis shoes and see if it works?"

We tried.  Blisters started. 

So.  The Crocs.  Hopefully her new shoes will arrive before next Monday's practice...
