Cate's Purple Hat

Actually, it was made for Halle (but does it matter??)

 Cate loves this purple hat that Aunt Debbie made.  She always chooses it from the hat box, and gets compliments wherever we go.

Today she wore it to Isaac's Dr appointment* and wouldn't take it off when we got inside.  Three different nurses made such a big deal about how cute she was and how much they loved her hat, that she got embarrassed (and nearly cried!)

 I love it too.  It's a lot like my favorite hat of all time:

 Edit: JD came in from church with the girls and told me that one of her teachers commented on her cute hat!  Haha!  He didn't know I had written this post.

 

 

*Isaac is perfectly healthy- it was his 2 month (almost 3 month!) check-up.  He weighs 13.5 pounds and it right around the 50-60th percentile in everything.  He's so squeezable that the nurses took turns coming in to hold him and make him smile (they seemed to like our little room today!)  :)
