Costumes Stories (or- DRAMA.)

Cate changed her mind.

 The butterfly was sent to the dress-up box when Mema let her take home the Minnie Mouse costume/dress-up from Batesville.

Then Cate changed her mind again

She insisted that she needed to be Mary.  As in- Mary and baby Jesus*.  She was very specific about what she wanted and didn't want to wear:

Halle went from "White Butterfly" to Ariel to Cowgirl. 

(I hurt her feelings when I said she looked like a square dancer...)

And then Ty.  Care to guess what he decided to be?

(Hint: that's a real practice plan tucked in his waistband)

We figured Chief would have these pumpkins chewed up by now but, it turns out they scare him to death.  He barked madly at them when they were first set out, and he still randomly growls at them!  Dumb dog.  (The kids think it's hilarious.)

 

 

 

*Cate is sensitive about her Mary costume- she gets embarrassed when people laugh about it (and they did last night.  Shoot, I still do!)   But guess what?  She won "Most Creative Costume" at the college's fall festival.  Ha!  :)
