On the Road: Bolivar/Springfield

We went on a week-long road trip with our team to Missouri and Illinois the week before Christmas.  My parents rented a van and drove down to spend the week in the hotels with us!  It was actually a fun way to celebrate Christmas with a "vacation."  Ha!

 

Our first stop was in Bolivar, MO- home of Southwest Baptist University (my alma mater!) and where we played on Monday night.  SBU was an exhibition/guarantee game, and although we didn't score well against them and lost by double digits, we didn't embarrass ourselves.

Pregame "exploring": 

We spent time at the Springfield Nature Center- the same place we stopped two years ago to stretch our legs, and also the same place JD and I went when we "met halfway" 13 years ago.
