This Week

1.  No school Monday, due to "potential frigid temperatures."

 2. Report cards came out. 

3. The team is back in town!

 4.  Isaac liked the bathtub for the first time since he was sick (before Christmas.)

5.  The kids have rediscovered the Wii

6.  Sunshine (our cat) seems to have found a second home.  She does eat here though...

7.  Storytime at the library!  In RIPLEY!!

Sidenote:

Usually January is a rough kind of gut-it-out month around here.  Christmas and all the excitement is over.  JD is gone.  A lot.  Like- we MIGHT have a family supper once a week if we're lucky.   It's cold and we're stuck inside.  And the end of all this seems nowhere in sight. 

This year it seems a little different.  I don't know if it has to do with the fact that we stayed here over the break, or if it's because we feel connected and excited about the new church, but whatever the reason, the January grumps haven't hit.  At least not yet.  Ha!
